House is 50m back from the road through the village - it can be rammed to fuck all day long on the green / tennis courts and it doesn't bother me.

Society is nicely at drives length.

Observation not a desire to join in Very Happy

Ha . I could not care less really. It's just that once they are all vaaccinated stuff can go back to normal and then all the armchair Covid experts can go back to the pub / attend football matches and stop posting shite all over the net.

The vaccine distribution has been disconnected from Covid policy. Don't get your hopes up too high Wink

Today I got up early.
I was greeted by a clear sunny morning with a garden full of wildlife.
I had a rabbit running around the lawn, and serval species of birds.

I went out to feed the birds and a blue tit took a tiny bit of bread from my hand.
Wow! Just wow!

Two things.

1. Dropped the car in for repair earlier and was given an electrical corsa.
I like the way it moves.

B. While out driving the above vehicle, I saw a woman walking what, from a distance, I thought was a large dog.
Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a Shetland pony.

Day 4 and Gordon the Starling chick is still alive. Smile No longer grounded, he has the strength to jump/flap into the lower branches of bushes and climb higher, where the parents can still find him. I don’t think the cats will get him now.

I’ve got a shallow terracotta dish of water on the ground which the birds like very much. Amusingly, the young starlings crouch on the lawn and mimic the wing-flapping and head-bobbing of bathing adults before finding the courage to venture into the water themselves.

When the nesting season is over the sparrows go mad for another terracotta dish filled with sand for dust bathing.

Like ‘tv or not tv’, I could watch them for hours. It’s one reason I sometimes find working from home difficult.

I'm a daddy, I have baby triffids. Two Venus flytraps have just poked their first jaws above the soil. I planted 10 so let's hope there's a few more soon.

Sorry for the shit picture. Camera phone on max magnification as they are tiny.

Looks like a close up of a quality street wrapper. In b4 Polarbear gets busted for suspicion of growing weed.

Whilst hiding my stash (from myself) I found a rug in the top of the cupboard under the stairs - which I had completely forgotten I ever bought, but which I had to put away because Bruno was too hairy and I didn't want to ming it all up.

Bruno's been dead nearly 5 years (!) and the rug has been up in the cupboard forgotten about much longer than that.

So I got it out, and turns out its some sort of furskin-beast ... I dunno. Its not sheepskin, ... deer maybe. Not cow, and too small to be a bear Laughing

I remember that I paid a fortune for it (comparatively speaking) and then I didn't want to have it all fucked up by dog hair.

Its lovely to put your feet on and rub, all furry Wub
