Just when you think you've seen your worst CX500...

I mean the seat is the stand out feature, but special mentions for the headlight and the idiot lights setup.

LMFAO the seat! Laughing ... BRAT style! Laughing fuckin' lol

Did the rear brake cylinder and pipes always look like some random plumbing gear from Wickes when it was stock or what?

I remember seeing that a couple of years ago at Bikecare the place I use
for MOTs
As I recall it was in awaiting ignition pulsers and as they're NLA new
they ordered a SH set from a johnny foreigner in Europeland.

(See my thread on this topic here https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=329508)

I took a couple of pics but not sure if I posted them here or elsewhere
Not to my taste but in its defence as an 83 GL it does at least have
the original, sturdy, Honda monoshock system not the butchered flimsy affair you see others
do on the twin shock frames

I quite like the headlamp/indicator style... but not on this bike! It's the sort of thing you'd do when you've run out of self respect bought an old Harley Laughing

The spanner light panel and old sprockets as indicators really gives it the finishing touch Laughing I'll never understand why sticking spanners on a bike is so popular.

What I find most stomach turning about that isnt the fact thats he's made yet A FUCKING NOTHER cx bobber, or the spanner idiot lights, sprocket indicators, tractor seat, bad lines all over the place...

Its the fact the mouthbreather was so proud of his build he's made a physical fucking photobook about it! Laughing

I was thinking of sticking a couple of the tractor seats on my narrowboat. They are only £35 from Amazon. Laughing

This bike needs to be seen to be believed. It's got every conceivable add on & has been used for adventure touring & wild camping etc. Too many modifications & add ons to list but includes an ancilary leisure battery fitted that charges whilst the bike is running can be used to charge & run devices when out in the sticks. Perhaps surprisingly this bike actually runs & rides perfectly

I don’t know why it’s carrying a wooden door stop on the tank. Liking the extra long key though.
