I heard rumours last week that Triumph had engaged Kevin Charmichael and another famous enduro rider in order to do... something with the word on the street being a competition MX bike. I didn't think that sounded right, and I figured they were just doing some promotion for the Tiger range or something.

Today in MCN "Triumph's shock new offroad project!" which apparently is a competition MX bike and an enduro bike... wow.

Interesting.

I led a beginners ride in 2019 with a couple of Triumph "scramblers" in the group. They mostly ended up in hedgerows.

Triumph 'scramblers' are never, and will never be off road bikes. They are road bikes based on the bonneville and have the look of oldey timey scramblers. I'd just as soon take one on a trackday as I would take it off road.
