hey there,

so I rebuilt the entire bike last year it had a dead ground on it so I replaced the starter motor as that was the cause it sat for about 3-4 weeks as I needed to double check the timing and since then the rear right indicator has stopped working with my 150 tail light and when I press the starter button I hear a "clank" (presume its the starter) then I loose all power I have cleaned the contacts and the battery sits at 11v when the ignitions on and sits at 12.64v when the ignition is off
I have replaced the whirring harness with a brand new one that starter is fine and the main relay is working as it should so I really don't know what's wrong
thank you -MewMew rider Karma

Your battery sounds like it’s dead.

okay I will pop into a Halfords and get a new one kinda annoyed bc I spend £75 on my battery everytime I replace it but I left out that I loose all power to the bike besides indicators and I can get the power back if I wiggle the key around

Worn ignition barrel. The only solution is to replace.

What kills batteries is not using the bike.

Also, Tayna. They're cheap and fast and stock all of the major brands.

The internet. I never go out and buy stuff, online is easier, cheaper and most time its in stock.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/401575529841?epid=3026015263&hash=item5d7fc44d71:g:cRIAAOSwxeleoHn8

I rate these, some don't but I had one for 5 years in my GSXR and its still starting the bike (well it went when I sold it a few weeks ago)
