Todays what grinds my gears thread wnt open

I cannot seem to open the last page of the Todays- what grinds my gears thread. The second to last page opens and I've tried then hitting the next page button but still no go I just get the page;- No posts exist for this topic.

Just me or is this a problem for others? Has the thread just got too long after all its 710 pages now.

Right, I've split the last 2 months worth off the old thread and archived and locked the previous umpteen squillion posts. They are still there and can still be read.

That took fucking ages!

Let's see how this goes. I can do the same with the other mega-threads if it's working ok (and I have the mental space, it goes just as slowly in the moderator panel and I have to view the ENTIRE thread on one page to split it)
