Hi All,

I have just been doing some minor maintenance on my bike (Gilera Cougar 125cc) and noticed that the connection between the separator body and the air box was lose and upon inspection noticed a tear in the hose.

Can anyone confirm what the implications of riding the bike with this disconnected would be?

Many thanks,

Not quite sure where you mean but if the split is before the air filter then just slap some duct tape round it and carry on. If however it's between the air filter and carb/throttle-body then you could be sucking in dirt and dust and accelerate engine wear. Break out the good quality duct tape Wink

Hi Easy-X,

It is between the air/oil seperator and the feed back into the air box, I have attached a picture of the seperator incase i am mis-identifying this.

Thanks,
