Riding to Track days??

Is it a good idea to ride your own machine to a track day?
Has anybody ever hired a bike out for one?

I really want to do a track day but dont have a trailer or access to a van Sad

. I would hire a van but I think you have to be 25 Doh!

Just ride there.

What would you do if you crashed on the road? Do that if you crash on the track.

See my posts in teh rideing home after a track day thread, I dont have van/ car+trailer so i ahve to ride. I crashed the guys got it rideable again , i rode home! I've been to 10 trackdays and ridden to them all.
