More a case that people pay a reasonable price for the cover and risk. It's exactly the same.as when they were made to stop altering premiums basted on gender.

I remember at the time, blokes were rubbing their hands together thinking their insurance was going down. Then wimminzes got all PMT'd up to their tits when their prices went up to match the cock enabled

They could support every fucking imagined gender under the sun now in their online renewal webforms, and the end result is the inscos will dick rape everyone equally in the arse for equality, and profit upgrade.

I also remember when the FCA ordered banks to simplify overdraft charges and remove unfair charges.

Banks all amazingly simultaneously increased the APR to 39.9%, and gouged all customers with super fairness. This hiked rate is almost as bad as the payday loan scammers. It's like the ombudsman that supervises these businesses has no purpose other than to stick your dick in a hornets nest, and then steps aside to watch the damage.

The renewals price will not be going down, with fewer miles driven during the pandemic the risk was reduced yet nobody in my experience got a rebate, or lower price this time round. They will need to top up the cabal's pension fund somehow, if thick lazy people are to be paying less, then guess who's making up the difference.

And then the TPF&T cover being more expensive than fully comp, what's that all about? It's a though there's profit to be made from a claim Wink

For a legally required product for those who traverse the highways, it's like they don't even need to pretend to give a shit about customer service, fairness or competition. Instead we get Meerkats and annoying opera singing bloke, take it or leave it.

Slightly off topic but still dealing with insurance. When I lived in North Yorkshire, it was in a small village amid farming land. No hills or other areas that would be likely to give insurance companies anything to really worry about. Just rolling farming land.

Then in 2014 I moved north into north west Durham and transferred the house and contents insurance to the new address. When the annual renewal came up about 2 months after the move, the premium had gone up by 120% or thereabouts. This despite the house I now owned was less value than the previous one and a relatively modern construction whereas the old one needed constant maintenance (It was a part 18thC construction).

I rang up the company and asked why this was being asked and after a short break to consult with the underwriter, it was due to me being in a 'flood plain!' I was gobsmacked to say the least. Where I live is about 800 ft above sea level on the side of a hill. If my house flooded then the remainder of Durham would be in a sorry state.

I pointed this out and the reply was well your building is within 1 mile of *********** which floods regularly and we have had to pay out a lot for flood damage. That particular village is actually 2 miles away and at the foot of a 1 in 12 hill where, yes there is a stream that USED to flood but doesn't now because of work carried out.

They actually sent someone up to check what I was saying and eventually my insurance was brought down to an acceptable level I would have expected. (Cheaper than the previous). So if you think you have a good case always argue it and if they still won't budge go elsewhere.
