Is that the airbus zephyr? I did the finance for it and one of them was spread all over the outback by a storm.

Yes. I think the dodgy bit is take off and low altitude. Once its up at 60000+ ft its more stable. Its an amazing thing, weighs 75k has something like an 80m wingspan.

It's not really designed with landing in mind either. It can land but it normally takes a little damage in the process. the one used for the first flight was patched up after it landed.

Been playing with adsbexhange with some fascination.
No idea what half that stuff's for or means but it's fun.

I found 2 Chinooks flying down from north Scotland which landed
at RAF Odiham
then I saw what I thought was a glider but was in fact
a Q9 Reaper drone!
It had taken off from RAF Lossiemouth flew down the east coat
all the way to to Dover and is currently patrolling up and down the straights of Dover of presumable looking out for johnny foreigners
and the like.
Been there for hours now it has.

Mind you... maybe it's looking for a petrol station thats open

Its gone now didnt think to note call sign
N590 or summat like that?
later it was joined by a Piper Navojo from Sheffield/Doncaster airport which was doing the Dover coastal patrol thing too
before I shut down the puter.

Nothing of note there now, just a Spitfire Tr.8 G-AIDN which took off from Biggin Hill, buzzed the coast at Eastburne and now looks like its going back to Biggin Hill

Clicked 'U' and nothing interesting atm except a UAVision Ogassa OGS42V over Portugal

Just seen a 'cessna 208' cruising at 11,000ft but only doing 42 kt
over the Yuma test range
I believe 42kt is below a 208s stall speed.
That and the very precise almost geometric flight paths and turn circles make me fink its a drone

and that Q9 reaper N190TC was doing a tour of the oil fields off Aberdeen earlier today too

A good area to practice, if they screw up and blow up a platform they can make out its an oil company accident.
