I like the pre-Div XJ600. I should have bought one a couple of years ago when they were worth pennies. Just for the looks and the experience. Wouldn't be worth £1500-£2000 to me though.

SR500 is the pick of the bunch - rotten colour combo though.

Nor to anyone.. I had one in 1990-91 OK but no more.. realistic price for that is under 1k.

Some of those old bikes look quite cheap but then I don't really know what's desirable outside Broughs, Goldstars and the like.

Of the bikes I'd have the K1100LT, but I would rather have the 3ltr Capri.

The scooters did well, presumably so they can sit in the window of an organic coffee shop in west London as a "talking point"... looking all "arty" and "ironic" ......

Lot 204, the V11 Sport.

A bike to die for, unfortunately if I bought it home I would die at the hands of Mrs SJ. She has this fanciful womanly idea that a new fridge and freezer are more important.

I don't particularly like half faired bikes, and I don't particularly hanker after a guzzi......

But......

I've badly wanted one of these for over 20 years now, and I cant figure out what's so special about it, but it is definitely special ....
