4 years.
That's not time and money wasted is it?
I mean, its not like you could buy summat decent for 4 grand

FFS its stupid useless pile of wank!
Its still a C90
I dont have problem with C90s as simple, lightweight hacks at all
but that thing is just absurd.

Think of all the decent bikes ( or scooters, lovely lovely scooters of course)
you could buy for 4 grand instead of that polished turd

Just noticed, that 'new' engine isn't Honda
its a badged Chinese Zongshen/Lifan type engine.

Oh and no mudguards
If anything screams no one is ever going to seriously ride this shit
it's no mudguards

Guy imported it from America in fully original condition. Didn't spend the £55 to get it UK registered, but instead paid £800 to get bespoke wheels built. No expense spared, and huge bills incurred, to build something he never got to ride, and now he has to downsize his house Shocked .

It must be the result of a Shed and Buried / Youtube / Reddit / Instagram / Bike Shed overdose.

I'm all for wasting (a set and fixed amount of) money (you can afford to lose) on projects. However, throwing serious money at people to do random and unnecessary stuff for you over a period of 4 years to build a bike you will never ride and then sell at a loss makes no sense.

You can sense the love, attention to detail and affection that Honda have put into designing and building that 2021 Super Cub - the Cub was the foundation that Honda was built on.

Nice spot. For those not familiar with scooters there should be a whole plastic shroud around that fan which would obviously look unsightly on a naked scooter so binned for aesthetics Rolling Eyes

Also notice there are no springs holding on that exhaust can.

Bad in all sorts of ways:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353686907397

- "The carbs have been cleaned twice and then professionally set up at a local garage specialising in classic bikes"

I'd want a receipt for that. Not only is it on the original carbs, but those are CV(K) carbs minus an airbox. So it will be interesting to know how that would work, especially since so many people report these carbs as being problematic, and have so much trouble getting hold of jets.

- "Original 2 into 1 exhaust re-chromed (looks new)"

No, it's not the original exhaust. The originals were 2 into 2. It looks new because it is relatively new (it's an aftermarket replacement and all you've done is chopped off the silencer).

- The frame type is "B", making this one of the rarer Z440s he's destroyed. Good thing he didn't get his hands on a really rare "C", I suppose.

- If you're going to delete your mudguard and spray your fork lowers, how about grinding off and filing down your mudguard lugs? Speaking of which, the mounting lugs for the side panels on the frame are still there, which makes no sense for a genuine personal project, unless you assume everything on the bike is rushed and botched.

If it runs at all, this is the sort of bike you would ride for 5 minutes and then return with a headache and anxiety. Mostly because of the fuelling and air flow, but other things as well. Low throttle, mid and wide open with that setup - no description and no information about how that works, but I'm fairly sure that it's a real nightmare. Koso speedo and pro paint job, but nothing to improve the really lousy brakes, which suggests it wasn't made to be ridden but rather to be sold. Either that or it really was the case of the devil making work for idle hands.

Speaking of which, after having rendered it into a parts bike, he wants £4500 for it. No mirrors, the cheapest, nastiest tyres you can get, missing chain guard, cheapest shocks, all the usual stuff, etc. and he wants £4500. Shocked

It doesn't even look good. These bikes had all sorts of functional things. An easily accessible fuse box, a helmet retaining clip, a seat lock, a hand rail to easily move the bike around, etc. He's taken away all of the functionality and has even taken out the fun. Because if it doesn't work properly, that's no fun.
