Received a NIP today, 28 in a 20.

Thing is, that it's for a camera at Upper Thames Street by Stew Lane, London. From what I can work out, it's this one.

https://www.google.com/maps/@51.5110953,-0.0956212,3a,75y,279.15h,84.27t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sfRFnobMfG2z_B5M229Ca3g!2e0!7i16384!8i8192

I haven't been to London since 2014.

Bastidz.

I wouldn't even bother asking for pictures and request court date.

And attend the local filth and get a crime number.

make sure you request that the anpr system tracks the use of the number and triggers the filth.

Report it to your local police now because you can probably expect more speeding tickets to arrive as well maybe some parking tickets and if you're really lucky there'll be reports of you driving off without paying for petrol.

As likely just an desk-operator mis-read.
Let them know - if you can be arsed; and it'll all go away.

- Still, do the s172 notice or you'll get fried anyway.

My daughter had similar recently. Her newly purchased car was advertised on Gumtree with the numberplate showing. A few weeks after getting it she got a ticket through from Hackney council for parking in a disabled bay. Got the pics through and it is the correct model of car but wrong colour and a 5-door not a 3-door.

A 20mph dual carriageway? What’s the limit on the smaller roads?

Khaaaaaaan.

He loves to screw city motorists up. Surprised it's still a dual carriageway - everywhere else, he's sticking wider pavements and higher kerbs in to reduce lane capacity, because having people stuck in traffic is really good for air pollution levels Thumbs Up

That road was still a 30 zone back in 2014. So you've done some pretty spectacular time-bending antics there...

Neither, it's City of London Police. I spoke to them and they advised me to email my query through, since there's not a section on the form to state that not only was I not there, the vehicle wasn't either. I've emailed them, but I'll still be sending the form off with a covering letter.

Good one, and keep a copy with proof of postage arttached. Courts set a great deal of store by actual paperwork. Then you've complied with the notice and can prove you have.

Rince, repeat or they will prosecute despite you allready reporting the first one.

On the plus side, they will stick it on anpr systems and hopefully the little cunt will be anhero'd trying to run from them.

ANPR is nationwide so he/she will have the met chasing them as well.

Yes, but thats why I suggested speaking to the local plod because they'll only ever stop him the once and he won't be running from them.

Aye, I'll be keeping my V5 on me when out on the bike, and be paying more attention than usual to the blue flashy things.
