There are offers of £70k/annum for HGV steerers.
So cash is not the problem.
There's been a shortage of drivers since last year. |
It isn't a case of a shortage of cash because the consumer will pay, inflation will rise and interest rates will go up, leading to less money in the economy etc etc. I wonder if they've offered the bloke who drove Boris's bus a job? ____________________ Now - Speed Triple, old ratty GS550, GSXR750M

Go and watch some HGV drivers on YouTube.
A few have their own channels and record their day-to-day lives, and it does show that the rates of pay were kept low by haulage firms happy to exploit cheap Euro drivers. And then they have the shitty conditions and trailers that are fucked to deal with. Quite a simple fix; pay people a decent wage. ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F

So although you left your bike at home you still went out in a helmet and balaclava? ____________________ CBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11

^I've driven them a few times, agree it's all good fun so long as you don't go down a dead end without any room to turn around.
Reversing one for a few hundred yards just using the mirrors is a bit nervy.
Also much more fun if you know the weight and height restriction rather than guessing it as they don't always have the idiot sticker inside. ____________________

I've told you before about leaving the safety of your house. Something annoying and techy is fucking with my laptop and phone, and I am not H.P.
There's a glitch in the hellkat matrix, and I don't like the disturbance in my personal Force.

And I'm having a bit of a paranoid moment about data!
Oo-er, big data. It's a big subject, isn't it.
I'm not at all sure my pea-brain can comprehend it all.
But people are making A.LOT.OF.MONEY. out of it.
So, really ... where's mine?
How do I get my hands on the money that gets made from the waffle I spout?
I need to know.
