Now on Amazon Prime, where I discovered a free series of The Handmaid's Tale*, which I have been looking to find for ages - although now I've started, I'm not so sure I'm going to really enjoy it.

*the version with the girl from Mad Men in it, which was highly acclaimed. I quite like her. She's got a knack for "quirky" parts.

you mean Peggy?

Anyone watched Mayans MC, which I've just come across on BBC iPlayer? Any better than Sons of Anarchy from which it's spun off?

I've not bothered with SoA at all, ever.
So I thought I might try and watch Mayans and got about ten minutes in before turning it off.
Boring!

Running out of stuff on my Prime only Firestick. Have done all the usual Prime ones, The Boys, Man in the High Castle, Upload, Vikings, The 100, Good Omens, The Expanse, Into the Badlands, all that kind of stuff.

I've been eeking out a couple of hours a night on peasant fodder like The Shield, Bosch and other low budget stuff.

I tried American Gods, but by Christ, 2 episodes in and it's so effing dark, it's not enjoyable. Slow moving and way over the top violence, with little substance to add.

Loudermilk its about a guy called loudermilk who runs AA meetings and the daft bunch of clients.
Lodge 49, slacker dude type gets involved with odd secret society, offbeat relaxed humour and series 2 incoming.
What we do in the shadows, Original Oz comedy about a bunch of Vampires sharing a house. Then theres the American remake. Both worth watching, the US series has Matt Berry in it so if you like his stuff you'll love WWDITShadows.

Finished watching Vigil. Totally unrealistic anti nuclear propaganda, but entertaining and tense. It's probably important to remember that it is in no way related to how the real Navy actually works.

My old man copied series 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian onto a USB stick for me last weekend while I was down there
visiting. I've only got 4 left to watch. Wasn't paying for Disney+ just to watch that. It's okaaaaay I suppose.
