I was hoping no one would post anything about where that phrase comes from, I've already been enjoying confusing a couple of the "official narrative" followers here with it, knowing they wouldn't see anything about it ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

And in a delicious move, Trump has started a new social media project called Truth - can't wait for the floods caused by more melting snowflakes over that one!
He is the world's most accomplished troll, and the sooner he's back the better, for that reason alone

So this "Let's Go Brandon" is the anti Trump media trying to smoother popular opinion that Biden needs to feck off? I believe he's way down in the approval ratings.
How bizarre. I wonder who the rapper making the cash was funded by? |

I don't suppose it really matters. It was spreading, anyway. A rapper making a mockery of it is still funny. |
Everyone will take it and use it as suits them. That's the political game.
That's why it doesn't make sense to get too worked up about politics if you don't hold any political power yourself. I hate the looney left, wokism and all that, but what can I do about any of it? All I can do is vote with my best judgement when given the opportunity (for now). And when the choices are all so dire, you can be forgiven for thinking, what's the point even in that? Unless something better comes along. One can only hope. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

By the power of the pro democrat media, which, lets face it is about 90% of MSM, including Facebook, Twitter, Google, MSN, CNN, New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street journal. Hell ever UK media like the BBC detests Trump and thinks Biden is awesome, even though Biden refuses to talk to the BBC as he's an IRA supporter.
The "fuck Joe Biden" crowd have Fox News and a few loonies like Infowars. |

It has always been the leftist way to dehumanise the opposition. That way, you can do what you want to them and feel nothing, given the opportunity. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

I wouldn't say that, but they're a tiny group by proportion. Not exactly a threat to western civilisation. We learned from the last WW about the dangers of national socialism, but we never learned from the things that happened in the Soviet Union and China. Something like 70-80 million dead between the two. Some people even deny anything bad happened, others ignore it, can you believe that?!
Nobby, are you a national socialist, or an international socialist? ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

Personally I think the looney so called left is just a very carefully constructed straw man to distract from the establishment. After watching a documentary on brewing and seeing how yeast cultures are cultivated to produce alcohol ive come to see people as just like yeast cultures as a cultivated organism to produce the intoxicant that is wealth. |
I've been looking into Jean Piaget's Constructivism and one could say the lifetime of a person plays out in effectively the same manner as would a lower order species over time i.e. it adapts to its environment. How said lesser species does it is to have random offspring and hopefully, given enough time and enough offspring, some of them do slightly better than others.
So it is with people except instead of offspring one imagines outcomes. And as with unsuccessful offspring some ideas need to be taken behind the chemical sheds and shot sometimes even before they've been tested in the real world - "I thought of something... no, wait... that'll never work, fuck it"
You could take this further and say an argument is a battle of ideas. Maybe one succeeds and is dominant, like two lions facing off, maybe both come away battered and the opponents withdraw to reconsider their ideas. But there is change, improvement... evolution.
Whatever the creature is that's inhabiting the skin-suit of the Far Left at the moment its ideas are cancer. There is no possibility of change, of growth. On a cultural level anything of import is infected, consumed, hollowed out and, once forgotten by the masses, quietly discarded. Typified by the Chestnut Tree Café at the end of 1984 and exemplified by the destruction the the Star Wars franchise.
There is no discussion with cancer one can either kill it or succumb. ____________________ Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |

The problem is that too many people seem to believe that there is some kind of utopia which is achievable. With this mindset, it means people are willing to do anything to achieve it, believing it will be worth it in the end. But there is no such thing as a manifest utopia. That is religious thinking, and aren't we all supposed to be anti-religion these days? You get rid of religion to replace it with something that is arguably even more insane, and certainly every bit as dangerous.
This is what I don't understand about so-called "progressives". What are you progressing towards? Do you have a picture of the end result, the place where things can't be improved anymore because they are so perfect? And how do you judge whether something can be deemed progress or not if you don't have an end goal by which to measure it?
This does have relevance in this thread (and many others) I feel, because it seems to me that some folks in the US seem to think that some kind of utopia is possible, and that they are beginning along the path where the means of achieving it aren't important, as long as as they think they're heading there. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017
