Heyy, Im a 22 year old student in Spain and I have a huge passion for biking. I own an MT07 in Dubai and I was thinking about riding it over to Spain so I would have a bike here and also the journey would be amazing.

I was hoping to get some advice from people who have travelled across countries on motorbikes before to see whether this trip would be possible or not. If you have any experience, knowledge or opinion about the trip please let me know!

P.s. I hold a British and an Iranian passport

Since that involves crossing difficult entry restrictive kuntries you really need to do some homework.

You will need tourist entry/transit visas for each country.

The headache will be the Middle east countries. Mainly Saudi, Kuwait and Iraq.

Unless you go via N. Africa Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria. (Then ferry into Spain).

Its a lot of work to get permissions.

Visit the country embassies/consulate offices in UAE (Online is a good start.)

Visa is only one official issue.

Most problematic will be personnel security in those countries due to geography and current political matters you could wind up stranded with no bike, cash, belongings or papers or gang raped and dumped in the hills.

Experience would be a good tool. If you have experience of dealing with threat avoidance. Ride in a group, don't ride at night, stop for no kunt.

It is not impossible but it does have many hurdles to cross.

And time of year to avoid heat/cold.

As MCN said, it's going to be pretty challenging no matter which way you go. Any way to get the bike shipped to Istanbul and go from there maybe? Should be a lot less hassle involved once this side of Istanbul.

That could be helpful in some cases - which other Arab nations are Iran-friendly though?

It is possible, but I think you have to make your own research first regarding the driving restriction. I am sure that you'll need a temporary driving license since it's a different country.
