Upgraded my slowly dying iPhone 6 to an iPhone 12. One oversight was that the Pebble Smart Watch app is currently not available for download from the app store, so now I can't get caller id nor text messages on my watch, nor use it to control music.

First world problems, I know.

Since Pebble went defunct in 2016, it's been supported by the Rebble community, so I'm hopeful an app will become available eventually. Until that time, I'm wondering if there's an el cheapo chinkee smart watch out there, with basic phone and music control. Don't need nor want GPS, fitness tracking, touch screen etc. etc. etc.

Any recommendations?

When I wasn't on the Samsung bandwagon Xiaomi did me pretty well (on Android at least) and they're stated as Apple compatible. A basic Smart Band £20~£30, the fancier Mi Watch ~£80.

I like the Garmin ones.

I currently have a Vivosmart 4 which does all the things you mentioned and also has the O2 saturation sensor.

Don’t know if it’s iPhone compatible but I have a Mii Band 5 and it’s pretty good and cheap.
