An old GS500 or ER500 has more power (on paper) than the Interceptor 650,

I had an Interceptor for a year, quite liked it, but compared to the Hinkley Bonnevilles it suffered from brake, suspension and general handling. ( I am an RE fan, used to have a classic 500 and still have a Himalayan.)
Flogged the Interceptor, few months later I bought a 21 year old sorned ER5 with a genuine 2,300 on the clock. It is a brilliant little bike, knocks spots off the Interceptor for acceleration and overtaking, easy to move around and handles well.
I do miss the bark of the Interceptor, I tried to improve it by fitting TEC exhausts, DNA filter, IKON shocks on the rear, fitted emulators and pre load adjusters on the front, but it still handled like a tractor.

I find it odd though that they are not bringing the BS6 classic 350 here. It's like they are dropping a whole set of customers, people that bought a Bullet for the style I can't imagine buying a Meteor.

Dealers are starting to take orders.

Test rode the Interceptor, wanted to like it but (other than looks) didn't do it for me any more than my ER-5 does.
