My son has purchased a set of sequencial led indicators that have the flasher unit built in for his Yamaha YZFR125 2013, do we need a special flasher unit/relay to run them 0r just bypass the existing relay thanks in advance.

I'm just wondering if the dash repeater lights have to flash for the MOT or just have to come on.... No mention of flashing in the MOT manual so you're good there.

If they flash themselves when you connect one across the battery, no need for the bikes original flasher relay.

The dash telltale just needs to tell the rider what's in use, actually not needed at all if the indicators are visible from the riders position.

Iirc the rate of the flash of the indicator itself has to be between 60-12bpm

I tried sequential flashers on mine. Gave up with em and put standard LED flashers on there with a electronic relay.
