Felt to be missing something. Got the Wing for touring, the Street twin for bobbling around the lanes.

I try and do a couple of trackdays every year but with covid and not having a suitable steed I've missed out the last couple of years.

Went to check out a K2 Gixxer 750 at a dealers, right money, looked ok. In real life viewing it wasnt as good as the pics. Think the sales guy could tell I wasn't impressed so he said can I show you something that only came in a couple of days ago.

I had a look and am now the slightly nervous owner of a K3 Gixxer 1000 Shocked . Immaculate condition 12k miles, Ti pipes with Koffman 'silencer', PC3, expensive shorty levers and fancy adjustable rearsets. Almost new Michelin Pilot supersports tyres.

Suspect its been a track day bike although everything is otherwise standard and all present and correct.
I have only ridden it back home, about 25 miles, the last 10 being on roads I know from Squires. Fueling is spot on, must have been on a dyno and it rides beautifully, but hells teeth, you forget how fast these things are after not riding them for a few years.

So roll on spring and Cadwell, 65 years old this year, not so long left so fuck it, why not Very Happy Very Happy

OGR

PS I'll attempt get a pic up but am a bit of a dumpkof with tec

Nice. They have such beautiful clean lines. K3/K4 is peak GSXR as far as I'm concerned.
