Hello,

I have a 125cc Peugeot Tweet 125cc 2017 and I want too upgrade the bulbs.

I have looked on google, but can't seem too find what bulbs I would need and also if I would need too change anything else.

Any advice would be apricated.

Thank you.

Be careful about putting higher wattage bulbs in, especially on a 125. Wiring is rarely rated for more current than standard bulbs, putting 100w bulbs when it’s designed for 55 isn’t the best idea.

Don’t put in HIDs if the headlight unit isn’t designed for it either, you’ll just end up blinding the hell out of people coming the other way.

You may be able to find an LED light that works, but make sure the beam pattern matches the stock lights. Just bear in mind there’s a chance you won’t pass MOT if you retrofit LEDs.

Post a picture of the bulb. It's probably something so standard they didn't mention the specifics in the owner's manual Smile

It uses an HS1 px43t 12v 35/35 as stock
like the one below

Replacement will be easy as will test and comparison between
various types within this spec

Unwise 'upgrades' can open a Pandoras box of problems

Might seem a silly question , but does the headlight work when the engine is stopped? If it does then great the light runs off the battery .

Thank you.

Yes, the headlight works when the engine is stopped.

I just don't like the 'yellow' lights. I want white lights and they are also brighter.

When I google about it, I always find 'LED Bulb Kit for Peugeot Tweet 125 Scooter'

I won't link too it, because I don't know if it's allowed. It's a 'Ledperf kit'

It says 'Kit' however it only seems too be a bulb and cost £43. So I guess I can just buy a cheaper bulb and everything will be okay?

Can I use this? Will me changing it myself, affect the MOT?

See my original reply.

Just note that your beam pattern must still match the OEM bulb, but you won't automatically fail just for having LEDs now.

Class 1 and 2 motorcycles must not be failed for the defect ‘Light source and lamp not compatible’.

Headlamps must comply with all other requirements of the test and headlamp aim.
