My monthly staying alive post. Grand that I've managed another month.

Not been on my bike for weeks now. The weather is bad but that doesn't usually stop me.

There was a nice 1996 Fireblade Urban Tiger for sale. Would go great with the rest of the collection but I'm skint now so that won't be happening any time soon.

Sold my Clio for £600 pounds more than I paid for it. But still negative as I have spent a small fortune on it. Should never have bought it. Didn't even do a single trackday on it

Think I've fallen for Dionne ffs. Don't know how that happened. Just thinking when She's my age I'll be 76 Laughing Not good. We'll see what happens. I've been to the doctor and he's prescribed me viagra. Not tried it yet. hmm to much info I know that but heyho.

I have 100% stopped smoking cannabis. I took it daily for 8 years and it was ruining my life. I feel happy about it. smoking cigarettes like a chimney now though. So I'll likely die of cancer rather than killing myself on the bike. Laughing

My son Max has covid but he can't communicate so I've no idea what he is feeling. I'm clean which is strange as I spend loads of time close to him.

Does anyone have a collection of bikes that they want to show?

That's it for this month. Hopefully get out on the VFR soon. with an unstoned head and no paranoia, Didn't smoke before I went out on the bike but surely was under the influence after the day before. Not a good way to live.

Happy New Year folks.

And a photo of my two dogs just because...strange mix a Bulldog and a chiuaua. Took the chow about a year of depression to get used to Bully.

…and you have made it to page 12 too!

Good luck with the Viagra, swallow it quick or you may get a stiff neck.

And picking up a bit on what was just said, be careful folks. I'm coming to the end of a driving ban for being over the limit 'the morning after'. Felt absolutely fine, but I clearly wasn't. Somebody rang the cops and said I'd be worth a pull in the morning. No idea who, and to be honest I don't want to know. Just be aware that especially at this time of year, even if you feel fine in the morning, you're probably not.

Just to update myself that I'm still alive.

Going out on Wednesday for my first ride of the year. Around the country roads of the Lothians, stop for breakfast in North Berwick. Can't wait, it's been ages since I was on the bike. A bit nervous about going out on the VFR again...maybe I should pull the 250 from storage and get on that to get my mojo back.

It's strange how you can lose it if you don't ride for a while.

Still going alright with female friend Very Happy Never saw that coming . Had resigned myself to being single for the rest of my days, infact I wanted to be single. After 25 years of marriage did definitely want another lady.

Anyone else been or going out on there bikes now spring is here?

Yup, been going throughout by just picking the odd days where it has had time to dry out and isn’t close to freezing. Can get caught out around 4 when everything suddenly cools quickly. Take it steady to start, but you know that (and probably won’t anyway Very Happy )

Going to have to sell a bike, money is tight since I met the female that I'm actually feeling like binning. A lot of hassle. Wants more and more out of me when I already know the maximum that I'll ever become. 34 year old sex starved lady with 55 year old biker who has more interest in his bikes shaft drive than doing anything with his shaft to her.

Which one to sell? All in good condition except the 400 that needs some TLC. Not sure if the 250 is worth more than the 900? I'm keeping the 600 as it's worth nothing but probably is the best bike I've got and spent a few hundred quid on it to get it up to scratch.
The 1200 is staying, love it and it's fast as heck and heck is fast.

Wine and dine in general, she actually doesn't cost me much, nor would I care if she did. It would be worth it. When I posted before I'd just had 96 hours solid with her and we wanted to kill each other. I like her again after some time apart. She's actually lovely and I am a lucky twat. My daughter likes her too.

My mates have talked me out of selling any of the bikes. Thank goodness.

Nope Paddy Laughing Still haven't managed to find another one for sale in the UK. I wonder how much it's worth.

Been out for a ride today, Berwick, Coldstream and back up the A68 lovely day for it, not to cold.

Geez the VFR uses some amount of fuel, maybe I need to ride more frugally (Is that even a word) but stuff that. Twisted Evil

Well that is true Laughing

Thinking maybe to sell the VFR and use the CBR600 as my primary bike. Actually could do with the money, we'll see. One of them really should go and I think the VFR1200 would be the easiest to replace if I ever wanted to.

Opened the garage first time in months. The wee 250 started no problems surprisingly enough. Took it for a blast, great fun. A bit different to the VFR. It's a bit dusty, will give it a good clean tomorrow.

Photos for you Paddy Smile

Can't take it, the 250 is absolute mint and I won't ever find one like it. So back to selling the 900. I can always find a 900 should I ever want one again.

Personal life is great, still molesting a 35 year old. Given up drinking whisky every night. Celtic are going to win the league. Only downside is I think I may have a pile.
