It gets weirder...

The sexualisation of these alternative identities doesn't apply to me. However, I'm prepared to accept them in others. I reckon everyone is antisocial now...

You wouldn't be interested in this then?

"Find a Dragon is a tool for matching dragons interested in various types of relationships. It may be used to find casual friends, various loving relationships, teachers, students, or just others of your species. If you are interested in finding a particular person by name, description, or location, use the "Open search" option instead. Even if you are not interested in matching, you should still fill out a profile so that others can find you in Open search or get more information about you by clicking your name from other parts of the site. You will not be found by dragons looking for matches unless you create a set of relationship criteria after you create your profile."

Not my thing... I think it's actually punk rockers in a new guise though, not just a bunch of pansies like those Youtubers a few years ago who strapped teddy bars to their handlebars while motovlogging.

Ste seems to know a little too much to be a casual bystander. How many videos?

There are socially acceptable furries and socially unacceptable furries.

It's all down to how the tail is attached. Safety pins, velcro or elastic are all positive signs.

It's not so much how they are attached but where they are inserted that makes them socially unacceptable.

Kin ell!!

My battery charger went pop the other day, not a big issue, I’ve had it for years.
So I buy a new charger (supposed to be intelligent) that can tell when the battery is charged etc etc.
I plug it in and hook up my battery.
Yes I did ensure that polarity was correct.

Luckily I was still working in the ‘Pepperami Shed Of Bike Death’ as five minutes into charging, I hear a cracklings noise.
I look round to see my battery on fire Shocked Shocked .

Electric off and battery slung out of the shed at 90mph.
Twisted Evil burnt hand for my troubles.

Lead acid? Very lucky you were there to sort the issue out.

Yeah but what everyone wants to know is how is the tail attached to the fursuit you were wearing when "working" in your "Shed"?

Couldn't sleep in the wee small hours, tossing and turning, worrying about work tomorrow.

Then just as I was thinking about putting the hard word on the senior consort, his ex-wife rang (around 4.30 am) shrieking that he had to get round to her house, as their nut-job son was going off on one.

I stayed until he returned home, and he put me on the train back to London a bit earlier than either of us really anticipated, as he was expecting it to kick off again.
So I read him the riot act (sort-of, as I figured he didn't need more ear-bashing right at that point) - suggesting he tell her to call the police or a refuge before she calls him.

Such a shame, as we had a really lovely day yesterday, and he was really chilled and relaxed.

Without this drifting off on an offensive tangent,, how old is said son ?

Cause there comes a time etc etc, where you would be exactly right.

Yeah, closer to 40 than 30 Rolling Eyes

Of course there's always two sides to every story, and I'm only hearing the dad's side of it, but to be quite honest, any mother/son scenario where the lad is roaring like a wounded bull in the house, threatening his mother at 4.30 am are just not going to be the kind of people I am likely to click with.

Nutters in psychosis: been there, done that, worn the book, read the fucking t-shirt.
I am very happy to skip back off to London and leave them to it, but dad is completely different: polite, friendly, civilised and doesn't deserve to be put through their shenanigans.

Dammit, torn oblique (I think).
That's put paid to any further workouts for a while, and carrying the shopping home from the supermarket is going to be...interesting next time.
