Thank you, Doggone.

The bird was my subject and looking at the picture on my 4K computer monitor it isn't that bad, considering the conditions and equipment I had. Perhaps I just had too high expectations, comparing my picture/s with National geographic stuff. Smile

When I take pictures of stationary subjects I always get pixel sharp image, unless I go for bokeh.

I'm gonna try again.

Shooting RAW and using some processing software afterwards is what makes all the difference

UPDATE

So, I recently switched from Fujifilm X-T200 to Fujifilm X-T30 mk. II, using the Fujinon xf 18-135mm lens most of the time. Very versatile super zoom lens.

I also signed up for a photography contest. I know I'm not gonna win anything, but some people actually liked some of the pictures I made and posted. It actually oiled my gears, but as digital photography isn't that popular topic on the BCF I post my excitement here.

*These pictures are originally in 24 mpx and 26 mpx, however I posted the links from the actual contest (the three pictures people liked the most) where they use a very aggressive compression algorithm. Some (a lot of) sharpness is gone.

**I don't use photobucket anymore, nor any other online photo storage. To post pictures on the BCF, I would have to manually reduce the image resolution to at least 4K, which I can't be botherd with. Smile
