HOW DO YOU BLOCK THE HONDA PAIR SYSTEM?

CBF500.

I have two pipes from the top of the airbox connecting to the cylinder head (assuming these are the breather). There is one on the side going towards the PAIR apparatus at the front of the engine. Is this the only part I need to block off?

Why would you want to?


It'll stop the exhaust popping if you've swapped it out for a non-stocker. Also required if you plan to dyno tune the bike as it'll throw off the AF readings out the back of the exhaust.

People have used marbles before to block off the hoses, but you can get a "kit" on fleabay which will have the relevant blanking plates etc to totally remove the system.
