I have a 70 plate lexmoto lxr 125 with 4800 miles. I was riding to work yesterday morning at about 60mph when suddenly it lurched an lost power. It now will no longer rev past 7000 rpm in any gear including neutral and in between 6 and 7 thousand rpm it makes an expensive sounding popping and vibrating sound

If it's still in its' two year warranty get onto the Lexmoto dealer you got it from pronto and don't fuck about with it yourself trying to fix it because any chance of a warranty fix will disappear.

Yeah i do have a warranty till November im taking it for a checkup at a lemoto garage ASAP I just wanted to see if anyone had had a similar problem and could diagnose in the meantime

If the engine runs and works in all gears , but won’t rev passed 7000rpm , I suspect electrical gremlins possibly maybe I think?

Modern electronics on a bike, hmmm? Not something I’d want to mess about with.
Get it to the dealer ASAP.
