I did a site search, couldn't really find anything to help - I want a domain which shows as registered in '01, is parked at a 'domain for sale' landing page.
I know the types, usually want hundreds of dollars for the privilege of selling you the rights to use it, but when they only have it parked anyway?

Fuck 'em.
How do I either take it reasonably or spam them so bad they don't want the hassle of arguing?

They are like ticket touts in my book - go earn an honest days fucking living!!

If you want it then you'll have to buy it from them.

There is a whole process you can go through with ICANN (I think? It's been a while) to try to claim a domain, if you think you have a reasonable claim. The fact that they're just sitting on it will help, but you'll definitely need to show that it's related to your well established company's name and so on.

You aren't going to get anywhere with "I want it and they're not using it".

Or you buy it off them.

It's actually illegal in the UK. Where's the domain registered?

They've had it since 2001 so they haven't registered a domain using one of his registered trademarks with the intention of holding it to ransom.
