Well, I got bored of waiting and bought another toy whilst waiting for some fun times. Should have decided about a week ago and I'd have taken the 250 off you instantly. |

Oh well that's the Fireblade sold. Was booked in for an MOT on Monday coming. Guy was like I don't care about the MOT take my money. He wants to collect it tomorrow. Fair enough he's got a good bike for a good price and will pass it's mot no bother. Actually bike is mintish although people have different opinions about what mint is right enough. Needs it's shiny bits polished and the wheels are chipped. other than that it's pretty immaculate for a 30 year old bike. Actually just about talking myself into cancelling the deal
That only leaves me with two bikes, 400RR and 600F2 I feel naked.
Might need to get a Royal Enfield Interceptor to use as an everyday bike. Only 47bhp to comply with A2, this is a bit of a turn off, a bit different to the VFR and Fireblade. I wonder if it can be suped up with some jiggory pokery?

The Enfield was just a passing thought. 47bhp lets it down. I'm not wanting to add anymore bikes for the foreseeable anyway. (likely means I'll have found something else by the end of the month)
The women thing is both a pain in the arse and a good thing, sometimes at the same time. Men/women...different thought process stereotypically. (According to my chauvinist friend who has had nothing but trouble with the ladies through the years, down to his own doing, he's a c*nt And I tell him so.)
Anyway she encourages me out on my bike so not all bad. She even looks after my son. She recently turned 35, so that makes it 20 years younger than me and I said to her that I'll need to trade her in for a younger model. |

What's the bike? Is that an early Victory?
Outfits are weird, terrifying monstrosities. Entertaining I imagine though. One of my mates has a deep seated yearning to get a Ural for reasons no-one can understand.
EDIT - Ah no, I think it's a Kawasaki VN800? ____________________ Current - '94 VFR750FR, '00 VFR800FI Previous - '10 Street Triple R, '92 MZ ETZ301, '05 TTR250, NSR125R, KMX125, "Honda" Win (chinese copy of an old Honda design with a C90 engine)

Riding a combination is tricky. My dad had a 400/4 with a side car attached as he didn't have a full licence.
When I was about 17 I used to nick it and fuck about on it while he was in bed because he did full time nights.
Quite a learning curve. They are horrible to ride only good part is you don't have to put you feet down when you stop. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

I can testify that riding a sidecar rig is a good substitute for a trip or two to the gym. A friend of mine had a Ural. He practically hounded me to ride it until I finally relented. Man, riding that bike was WORK. Takes physical effort even to maintain a straight line. Side hack was on the right side; you could nail the left hand curves, but watch out turning right or you'll "fly the sidecar". Scared the shit out of me the first time it happened. If you've ever ridden a snowmobile, it's a little like that in terms of physical effort required. (except for the "flying the side car part.)
On the positive side; everybody loves a side car. Old ladies, strangers, he couldn't go anywhere without someone approaching him about the Ural. Hot little tarts who didn't know my friend from Adam would hop in that sidecar without regard to his riding skills at all. ____________________ History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of men - BOC |
