hello to ally just got a 2000 honda st1100 and wanted to ask what motor oil, and filter do u guys recommend.the bike has 80,000km.it does run hot, its a common thing among st's.i was leaning towards 5w30 but not sure.any thoughts ?

If it runs hotter you want thicker oil.

10w40 is usual but it depend on where you live.. Siberia vs Sahara..
