I think we can all agree, this is no way to choose a PM. At the very least, I'm inclined to think whoever does get the position should be allowed only, say, 6 months, maybe up to 1 year, before we have a GE. Let us see how they operate for a bit, then let us all decide.

I would do it the old fashioned way.

Best of five penalty kicks each.
They could easily rig up a make-shift goal outside No. 10.

At least it would be fair and transparent.

I'd concede to each player/candidate being allowed to wear their tracky-bottoms and trainers.
FIFA rules would apply.

Sunak was barely in Parliament when Brexit campaigning was happening, which shows how orchestrated meteoric his rise has been.

If it was Sunak and Penny I'd have liked a fight to the death (winner gets the job). A strong woman beating up a midget is just my fetish Wub

The shortlist just shows how far (in this case, Tory) MPs are out of touch with their own constituency party membership, let alone the electorate.

Members are going to picket the hustings. Looks like nobody wants WEF Sunak.

Conspiracy: It wouldn't surprise me if Sunak was parachuted in as a puppet for someone. He didn't exactly work his way up.

Well that is it. Liz is the next PM. Unless she makes some monumantal f.up.

I mean if you put a donkey against Sunak the donkey will win by a landslide Laughing

As I've said before: I question the motives of people who only post on a very narrow range of topics and pointedly avoid talking about motorcycles.
