It's not prone to rusting as long as its looked after. Mine is a '98 and has almost no signs of rust. Just a couple of bolts near the oil cooler.

Its only the collector box to be wary of really as its made from cheap steel.

Hi, im looking to buy an 05 plated gsf 600 s next month. As im restricted to 33bhp until march, i was wondering if anyone knew how much restrictor kits are and how much they effect the acceleration and top end?

P.s - its priced at £1850, it lools fairly clean, does this seem like a reasonable price?
Many thanks[/code]

£1850 for a bandit... 600?

Not a chance in hell. An extra few hundred or a fair few hundred less could get an R1, cbr, thundercat, vfr, etc

Hi,
New to the forum page so hopefully this will get viewed by a couple of experts.
Basically I’m making a faired bandit 600s, 02 plate to a naked Model, but struggling to find a top yoke that have the fitments for the clocks/speedo. The mk1 bandit top yoke has the fitments on the yoke for the speedo/clocks
Can someone just clarify weather the yoke dimensions are the same on the mk1 and the mk2 and will just be able to bug a mk1 top yoke and bolt straight on?
Thankyou 😅😅

PostPosted: 02:12 - 06 Aug 2022    Post subject: Suzuki Bandit- What bike model/year are the carburetors for? Reply with quote

I have a set of carbs from I believe a Suzuki Bandit. Guy who gave them to me said they were from a Bandit 1200. They were vey dirty and nasty. I throughly cleaned and rebuilt them.

My question now is this: What model and year bike are they for?

I do not think they are for Bandit 1200, but rathre more likley Bandit 600, maybe 2001-2004 ?

I attached a few pics.

Inside diameter of engine side fuel air body is apprx 30 mm.

Thank you for any help !!!!!
