There is nothing like getting a good stroker into it's power band.

I also like the smell, although not so much when it lingers on your clothes. I remember my time at college, you could always tell which of the lads had mopeds due to the smell on them.

Doesn't really qualify as a bike but I have an old vespa.

Not a museum piece. It was acually my main mode of transport until new environmental laws mean I can only ride it at weekends.

Didn't use it for a year during lockdown and it started on the second kick when I went to check on it. No battery or anything. Just a mighty 8 horses and tiny wee wheels.

The simplicity is the key. Passes MOT easily as there's nothing to go wrong on it. No indicators, nothing.

I had a KMX125 for a while. Not really a power band sorta bike but plenty of torque/power for a 125.
I also managed over 15,000 miles on it without a rebuild.
