Having spent some time searching for a parallel with quantum physics it dawned on me that you meant Schrader.

The black car is a serial offender, not only blocking the pavement but also obscuring any pedestrians approaching the zebra crossing. The van isn’t taxed either. The slightest police presence would pick those up but there are none.

It’s been a thrice-grindsome day today although I came out on top. The bad parking thing was No. 1.

No.2 - about twice a year I fancy a MacDonalds so today, while waiting for my Big Mac and medium fries at the A1 services two youths emerge from the toilets in balaclavas and, just as I’m wondering whether to rip it off their heads or put in a punch to prevent a crime (because I’m tough in my biker shoulder pads), they proceed to use the ordering screen. Harmless I guess, but come on, it’s baking hot, what are people gonna think? Weirdos!

No. 3:

I’ve noticed more drivers content to sit in lane 2 on a dual carriageway regardless of space to the left or vehicles gathering behind. I’d love to have a civil chat with them (seriously) to get an insight into why they do it.

Today it was a red, 1-series BMW and I waited behind before deciding he wasn’t going to use the left lane, so I would; quickly, safely. I’ve done this recently on my commute (wait, observe, safely undertake) and no one bats an eyelid (indeed some seem to expect it of a bike), but this twerp in a baseball cap* was ready with the Vs. I shook my head and carried on to the next offender (a taxi), and gave him the same opportunity to move left.

Red BMW twerp was delighted to catch up and then undertake us both, marginally (dangerously) clearing the gap as we approached a car in the left hand lane. The taxi took the hint and moved over so I was behind the BMW moments later but I stayed behind to observe, because I knew that’ll freak him out. Twisted Evil Eventually my slip-exit appeared so I made sure I passed him just before to show my superiority. Smile

*Never trust a driver in a hat. It’s a sure-fire sign of incompetence.

Think I might have been a speeding twerp too but these guys have got to be taught a lesson wrt the other Highway Codes. Laughing

I believe they're a fitment option on that particular marque.

FFS, that bodies in the suitcase thing has *really* freaked me out.

The police think the family of the dead children are currently living in Korea.

I suddenly remembered about that awful recurring dream I sometimes have about being anxious that [an unspecified something-unpleasant that I've buried in a big space, loft, basement, not sure ] is about to be found by someone

... at least, I *think* its a dream Shifty

Laughing

ok well, sorry my nightmare is just a dream.
The thing about the bodies in the suitcase (in NZ) is real.
Horrific.

Two children, between 5 and 10, found in a suitcase that was amongst a trailer-load of items bought as a job-lot from an auction of unclaimed stuff held at a storage facility. It seems they might have been there for several years. Not many further details so far.

Gears ground yesterday by people who have a massive issue with being overtaken. Particular case in point was a guy who had pulled out of a farm/campsite onto a 60mph road approx 200 yards ahead of me, but then dawdled at about 20mph (I could see him messing around inside, probably plugging a satnav in or something), the road was clear, good visibility and no restrictions, so I overtook. A few miles down the road I pulled over into a layby to take a photo and a few minutes later, the same guy pulled in behind me, started peeping his horn and gesticulating at me. I still had my lid on so I feigned deafness and he eventually gave up and drove off (tyres screeching) but I can only assume he had an issue with me overtaking him. Similar attitude later that ride when I had filtered to the front of a queue of traffic in town, but the white Audi 4x4 at the front clearly didn't like the fact I was there and despite the lights still being on red, crept forward several metres and tried to steer in front of me to block me. I matched the efforts then the light went green and I was off and soon filtered past more traffic so never saw the Audi again, but it really irritates me. Some people seem to think overtaking is some sort of slight to their road superiority or something. Narks me off no end. Evil or Very Mad

Funny, my mum hates being trailed by motorbikes and hopes for a bit of open road so they can overtake Smile

It does seem like a certain sort of driver (BMWs usually the worst) likes to drift about in traffic in such a way as to make filtering more difficult. I suppose if I'd been suckered into overpaying for an underperforming status symbol then to get dry-bummed on the servicing I'd also try to take revenge on the world in general...

...or it could just be small-penis-syndrome.

Just keep making like you're creeping past on the right until they have pulled so far across and forwards, the can't go any further, then duck round the left. Gets them totally raging.

I did what I'd call an 'innocent undertake' Laughing - where it takes so long it doesn't look intentional. (As usual, outside 2 lanes both full, nothing on the inside lane.) I slowly roll past a middle lane hogger.

When I eventually rejoined the middle lane, the hogger gets right up my arse, revving, flashing and beeping his horn. In a poxy old green panda or some shit. Worra c*nt.

I've kept this dream to myself for donkey's years thinking it was just me!
The dream is so vivid and stressful that waking up doesn't always completely convince me that I haven't actually committed some heinous act.
What a relief!
