Oh good, a family even more disfunctional than mine.

I'd be inclined to tell them the book won't ever be signed and you'll be speaking to the govorners about you child being punished for something you did which is called indenture and is not something the law really allows.

Sins of the father don't get passed to the children.

That doesn't sound like much of a life Sad

ofc they'll imply the planner wasn't signed 'cos the kid didn't shove it under their parents' noses.

Kids are with grand parents and stuff.
We bearly even talk, just grunt at each other, scavenge food and go to bed ready for the next day.

It's a killer, so remembring to book, whilst trying not to fall face first into a frying pan, is never going to happen.

Okay that's great but how long does it take to sign the planner/diary?

Also grandparents can just sign it, most teachers aren't gonna give a shit.

It does sound like you should just change schools or raise a complaint with the DfE.

Honestly it really isn't.

We get 9weeks, of actually having time together at weekends, then 9weeks of not.
Either too tired from getting up at 0330, or get upat 1230 and she is at work.

Used to tell the kids goodbye on a Sun night and not see them until Sat afternoon. Same as the wife.

It really does suck balls. But have to pay the bills. And there is naff all money round here. Just pub work really.

Just got good at forging signitures, to save the 6mile walk home.

Earlier this week read about an Irish teacher in prison for not calling someome a made up gender.

Now my step daughter is in detention for the week for not following rules.

Can understand her telling teachers to f off or wht not. (She wouldn't dare).

List of infractions:

Wearing bag on one shouoder not 2,
Tie not correct length,
Phone falling from bag, (wife has it locked during school hours),
Wrong equipment in pencil case.

This a a bloody 11yo on her first week of secondry school.
Wife has told me, that 67 from 300kids have been put in detention, from her yr7 group.

Also 'school rule' since you'll miss the bus, you have too make your own way home.'
So if they decide, my step daughter has to walk 14mile down unlit roads, if am at work with the car.

And it is that night not next week. So if am at work 50mile away, she doesn't get a lift home.

Am I wrong for telling the wife:
If she gets detention, phone me and al pick her up. At school leave time.

Oh and if they are refused detention by parents, it is immediate suspension. So they'll walk her to the gate, ans dump her there. An 11yo lasss, who has never been in trouble, apart from twatting a bully.

Speak to a solicitor.

Kids are subject to trial and punishment without fair representation.

Challenge the school board.

Fucking idiots will learn a valuable lesson.

I'm all for taking a teacher out the back of the janitors bin shelter now-a-days.

Well that used to be my first answer.
But unfortunately, after the wife saw me kicking someone's head in (who had just smacked a lass) in the pub a used to work in. She put a stop to it.

Got to be 'civil' and use 'words not fists' otherwise she'll leave me.

It is the teachers who tortured me for 5yrs. So trust me ad love to batter the lot of them.
