So is that limited to 120mph, or 200,000mph? Thinking

I'm calling bullshit on the range claims. I'd expect about 1/3 to 1/4 of that, especially with a motor putting out enough kW to accelerate that much weight.

Oh, and the charge times... There are no free meals in physics.

Max range is usually in "Eco-mode" (40mph) for eBikes. From the website they specify "New European Driving Cycle (NEDC)" as if that means something but urban, extra-urban or combined? Who can say Smile

The whole thing looks like a design company fantasy rather than a genuine product from a motorcycle manufacturer.

Yep, powah, range, charge time: you can choose to use one optimally, maybe two, but never three. For example you could go for the quick (80%) charge and nail it everywhere but it’ll soon be flat. You could make similar criticisms of IC engines (range comes down if you nail it everywhere) but the difference is much more pronounced with electric. That heavy, expensive bike is clearly not built for riders who want to trundle around at speeds which deliver maximum range.

In the history of technology the next generation has always been better than the last, but with EVs they’re in many ways worse. I expect law firms of the 2030’s to spam every website with “Were you sold or leased an EV? You may be entitled to compensation.”

The range and charge time could potentially be true, if it has a ~40kwh battery, accepts DC fast charging, and the range is based on doing 270 miles at 50mph.

If it does have a battery that big, it's going to weigh north of 300kg.

Another pointless electric concept bike.
