So, at 73 years old I’m finally going for a licence.
Back in the 60s my parents would not allow me to ride a bike, and then as the years passed live and work got in the way.
But now I’ve booked my CBT and theory test
My step daughter has bought me a beginners big bike, a Honda CB 400… need a bit of work which I’m hoping to achieve over the winter whilst working towards my full licence.
My wife thinks I’m nuts - and she may be right… but I’ve got this itch …….
Must be mad ……

Hello and welcome. Nice bike!

What's a beginner big bike though? Around my way the beginners get supersports and leave them in the garage, then go up and down the high street in the middle of the night, in the summer. Laughing Poor man's Porsche types. A bike's a bike. I wouldn't mind that one. Little 4 cylinder bikes are a lot of fun.

Arrhhhh… Very Happy I understand it’s just a saying in the UK for someone just passed their test and on their first ‘big’ bike.
