There is a 10hr video on youtube. I want to download a 3.5hr section of it.

Does anyone know how this can be done, other than downloading the whole thing and cutting it myself?

It is gambling related rather than pr0n.

I have now downloaded the entire thing in 720p at 6gb and will attempt cutting it later.
