It might have been if we didn't have a bunch of spineless politicians "running" things.

“La, la, la, we can’t hear you.” You’d think the SNP were really only interested in staying in power. Dissolving Hollyrood and declaring the resulting election as a de facto independence referendum didn’t appeal to them for the same reason. They’re on a good thing and even when they screw up they can just blame the English.

So a debate about something no-one cares about was scheduled and the SNP turned up en masse just so their walkout looked more dramatic?

The SNP is a good idea. One place for Scotland to put all its idiots.

Real idiots or just people who want to legally identify as idiots?

I think technically it's legal recognition of one's transition to idiot.

The problem boils down to this.
The real idiots have been getting lots of unjust entitlements that came at the expense of everyone else on the basis that real idiots were oppressed so should be given free stuff. The scottish system is riddled with people like this.
Now you have those that have transitioned to idiots and the real idiots don't like the idea that the transitioned idiots might get the same special treatment and are shitting the bed.

You have to have lived as an idiot for at least 3 months in order to self identify as one.

What is it we're always being told, especially by Scots? "You get the government you deserve!" Won't be hearing that phrase from them much anymore Laughing
Never mind. When's Scotland's next election? 2026 is it? Imagine all the wonderful things the SNP can introduce by then!
Never let it again be said the SNP are a one-policy party Laughing

The UK government could prevent the legislation becoming law by blocking Royal Assent - when the Bill gets formal agreement by the King and becomes an Act of the Scottish Parliament. It has also not ruled out mounting a legal challenge.

I don't know, I think the SNP may have scored an own goal on this issue. Most nationalists have been the very opposite of the kind of virtue signaling wokerati the SNP top knobs seem convinced they should present themselves as.

- The English are a layer of protection from the lunacy of the SNP
- The English are stopping us from identifying as an attack helicopter

?

Yet they seem happy to ignore all that stuff in the SNP, Sinn Fein etc..

If England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales can't live together. Then fuck them all off.

Hate where this country has gone.

Virtue is easy when the cost is zero.

Racial supremacist party supports a racial supremacist group, hardly a surprise?

They have this baffling position where they think they're on the same side (as diversities) cos they were both colonised by the British.

It'll come as a shock to them when they realise being white is what makes them guilty.
