its about time i junked the cat and slung on a link pipe on the mt10-sp and got it mapped

can anyone recomend anywhere in bedfordshire and hertforshire

I would rather, it was dyno maped than mail order ecu map job to be honist

ive already got the akrapovic Titanium can on the bike

It's not my neck of the woods Dave, I could point you somewhere if you were in the West country. You might be better
off asking on a model specific MT10 forum. I think only about four people on BCF have MT10's and you and I are two
of them. Laughing

This place is nearish to you but I cant speak of whether or not they are any good but they have a rolling road and use
Dynojet tuning software the same as where I would have sent you if you were round my way.

https://www.am-motorcycles.co.uk/dynojet/

Loads of places tune the mark one MT10, only a couple of places are tuning the mark 2 as the ECU is different apparently
so I'm going to have to wait a little longer myself.

I got a mail order map on my XSR700 and it turned out to work perfectly well with a very quick turn around. I would say it's the most cost effective route if you have a cookie-cutter build.

Laughing There's no way of knowing without dynoing.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

mine is a 2019 i got a hell of a deal on it it was still in warrenty with 1185miles on just had its first service guy and spent a foutune on it screen titainium can r g crash bungs and all engin case covers radiator cover grills and a tail tidy

then he tradied it in look at the use of the tires it must have terifed him and i picked up last year for 11 grand

Nice bike Thumbs Up Very nearly bought a used SP myself but the new model was days from launch and I decided to
treat myself. An early 50th birthday present to myself. I had those tyres on my old MT09 if they are Michelin Road 5's.
Have to say I'm not a fan. They gave me a few slips and scares. Am loving the Bridgestone S22's that came as
factory fit on the new bike. Haven't felt any sketchiness at all on those. I'll definitely be buying them again
although I hear they aren't particularly long lasting. They aren't awfully expensive though so I don't mind.

Here's a question for you. Do you have to adjust your chain often? I'm only just over 450 miles done on my new
bike and the chain is already baggier than a slappers manhole. I'm not even thrashing it yet. I'm not sure if it's
normal because the bike is and therefore the chain is new and has stretched a bit. I kinda ballsed up and bought
fancy Gilles chain adjusters for mine and don't actually know how to adjust them. Can't believe I need to get the
spanners out already after just 450 miles. But there's a definite lag on deceleration and quick shifter change downs
which is what prompted me to check the chain in the first place. I only noticed this yesterday. It's bad enough that
I don't want to do another 150 miles on it before it goes in for first service on the 19th.

I sent mine here https://www.facebook.com/DynoDude/ for a bench/postal flash ... admittedly it ( the ECU) need returning to be re-flashed .. but that was 12 months ago and 6,000 miles ... you`ll need an OBD2 reader to cancel trouble codes when you get it back ...

Dave Wood Racing in Buckingham.

I've had several bikes mapped by him, and I've never been disappointed.
