While sipping a lovely Slovak gin I listen to my old flashdrive mix that I made roughly 10 years ago.

Buffalo Springfield - For What It's Worth: https://youtu.be/JBHeei22Vhw?t=8

Electric Light Orchestra - Mr Blue Sky: https://youtu.be/MsilxmVpE3E?t=4

Steve Miller Band - The Joker: https://youtu.be/hmq3no9Cj6E?t=11

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Have You Ever Seen The Rain: https://youtu.be/ft0KGl_cZs0?t=3

and other such stuff. I might finish my journey with the The Jam - Going Underground. Razz

EDIT: I should probably listen to some Journey. Thinking
EDIT II: Took a picture of the Gin bottle in my brother's car...

I'm listening to The Repair Shop on the telly in the background.
Never really bothered with it before but my Mum inflicted it on me while I was home.
I'm so pleased that there are still *real* people in the world who take such care over old stuff. Cool The teddy bear ladies have given me some hope that my old bear might not be quite as fragile as I thought Wub

After getting booted out of Hawkwnd in the late 1970s Nik headed to Egypt and recorded some flute inside a pyramid...then teamed-up with a few members of Gong.

Hmmm? The flute seems to be in Vogue today.
I’ve been having a listen to a touch of the Moody Blues today.

What fantastic band.
Ray Thomas made the flute cool.

As a metal head, truly disapointed to say, I like the new:

Britney spears - I'm good.

Al shave off the mohawk and buy some tight jeans and tank top tomorrow.

Yes let my self and everyone else down too.

But off to see Festival of the dead at engine shed soon. If that getsman points back.

When Jungle/DnB broke none of my mates liked it...suckers missed out on some belting gigs.
Did mean I went on my own which didn't turn out to be a problem as DnB crowds were sound and oh so beautiful...reminded me of the acid house shows....Blimey that dove has kicked back in!

Seriously though, WTSV is one of the greatest albums of all time. Thumbs Up

I assume you know the other Kyuss albums and Queens of the Stoneage, especially their first self-titled album which was effectively just Kyuss with different vocals.

These days I listen to Frank Sinatra in my car.

I recently sold my old non oem (not working) CD changer from my car and I used the money to buy some music. So, Cypress hill (The Essential album + Original album classic box set), Faith no more (Who cares a lot album) and in order to get free shipping I had to add something into the basket worth at least £9, so I bought Frank Sinatra the platinum collection box set. Sinatra somewhat felt like a perfect match for my car and it was on sale. I'm not a fan, I just thought why not.

It's been years since I bought music on CDs and I've noticed two things. First, the OEM audio system in my '98 Mercedes-Benz e200 Kompressor is excellent. Second, and I might just be getting old, modern CDs are mixed somewhat louder (more bass, reduced dynamic range) than they used to be. That being said, modern/re-released CDs of old albums cost next to nothing, so no harm done, I suppose.
