They are trying to deny, or at least play down the ethnic angle in that as well.

: "We're not talking about immigration labels but about what went wrong in the social flashpoints."

The interior minister went and contradicted herself with...

it should not be used to stir up "racist resentment".

But then said

significant issue with "certain young men with a migration background, who hold our state in contempt, commit acts of violence and who can hardly be reached via education and integration programmes".

Guess what dear, you get racist resentment when people see what they are doing and it's why you (the powers that be) have rules like Germany's press code makes clear that ethnic or religious background should only be reported where there is legitimate public interest. to hide the problems, just like we do.

Still, what do we dinosaurs know about life. The young nowadays have it all under control. Rolling Eyes

Violence linked to display of masculinity? - 'One thing that does seem to remain a constant is the fact that the majority of the violence is perpetrated by men, said Alfred Gebert, a professor of psychology and sociology.'

Firstly no shit, and secondly isn't that why importing millions of mainly young uneducated men would be a very bad idea? If only someone could have predicted this years ago Rolling Eyes

"The former prime minister, who was forced out of Downing Street last September following a series of scandals, reportedly included his father as one of as many as 100 names put forward for honours, according to The Times."

That article is behind a paywall so here it is without a paywall: https://archive.is/nPH44

"The power to deny nominations lies only with Rishi Sunak. The Lords committee can only advise. In 2021 Peter Cruddas, a former Conservative Party treasurer, joined the Lords after Johnson overruled advice not to elevate him, a precedent Johnson’s allies hope the prime minister will follow.
Allies of Sunak have been concerned about the reputational cost of signing off Johnson’s peers. The nomination of his father for a knighthood, which passes through a separate committee, suggests further difficulty.
For Sunak to block any nominations could anger Johnson and his supporters. Last week Johnson said he would find it “very difficult” to vote for Sunak’s Northern Ireland Brexit deal.
Sunak may also be forced to rule on whether to suspend Johnson from parliament, should the privileges committee find that he misled the Commons."

Something about cake and wallpaper, as I recall. Harried by the left wing media and stabbed in the back by lame MPs interested solely in keeping their jobs. I’d stick a few randoms on the honours list as a FU too, particularly as it’s a pretty harmless and/or sullied title (Sir Philip Green, anyone?) with no money attached.

LOL, you are quoting the guardian to justify being a racist.

Let me explain racism. Abusing someone because of their skin colour is racism. Stupid cvunt like you can't work out that gammon is insulting someone because of their skin colour therefore racism.

But hey, how about I call someone who has a brown colour skin something rude, like dirt coloured? But thats racist!!!!

Rishi Sunak doesn't.

If something needs to be done Labour should put it in a manifesto instead of using it to make a clumsy, personal attack.

Rishi was not even an MP when those guidelines were put in place and has had no ministerial responsibilities in that area since 2015. The logic of the attack line is flawed.

Someone who did have some responsibility is the then Director of Public Prosecutions who sat on the Sentencing Council.

Awkward.
