I foolishly assumed that our law enforcement industry would have pulled thier fkng socks up after the abduction rape and murder of Sarah Everard in March 2021.

Apparently not. Why did our police industry need more evidence that they have a few evil bastirts among their ranks?

The recent disclosure of the police rapist should not need a full investigation of their people now.

That should be a fixture in police. And from its very conception waaay back then

Did the people around him keep a lid on 49 rapes?! The odd bribe here and there I'd expect but covering for rape and murder? Surely in the wrong job.

It sounds like there's widespread complicity and corruption in the Met. As well as the other cases that should have shaken things up in the organisation, it appears that an IPCC investigator was yanked off of a Met investigation job and had her recommendations watered down from serious professional misconduct to misconduct. There may have been conversations between the IPCC and the Met over it.

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

This is one of those rare cases where I believe tearing down and starting again would be beneficial.

Why not. They are no fcuking use at the moment for the ordinary person with ordinary worries, burglarys, assault, yobs and gangs. That sort of thing. I doubt we'd notice their departure.

Agreed. They are spending far too much time disrupting legitimate protest rather than targeting criminality.
