The sky mobile add with that woman swinging around being achingly perky. Yeah i know "hot as...." But its ridiculous and just reminds me of the Father Ted episode with the "lovely girls" competition.

Still annoying. You do realise that advertising media quite deliberately uses attractive people as a ploy to gain your attention? Its an annoying thing in of itself reminding me of that kind of woman who on the basis of being in possession of [insert typically attractive physical attribute] thinks you will [make an arse of yourself] so they can [insert trivial personal gain]. Boring and annoying.

We buy any car.

Two adverts, both the same format. Black people (yes, they've embraced the black advert culture) making themselves looks like idiots doing a silly dance because I presume they are meant to have sold their car for some increadible fee.

There's a fine balancing act between humerous and just plain stupid. WBAC crosses the line by a mile. Rolling Eyes

Oh god, is that the one where they dance on the fucking keypads with all the numbers?

The advertising agency creative team are obviously still using crayons to write their briefs.

The McDonalds eyebrow one is really getting on my tits. Doesn't help that its on saturation level as the moment so there's no escape from the annoyingness. Doesn't help that the double-eyebrow rise was my-then girlfriends way of telling me that she wanted a good seeing-to, so there is an element of confusion for me as well Laughing

The crucial detail missed these days is "do they remember the product?" Sooooo many annoying ads you're humming the tune from it all day but what were they selling again?

It can backfire of course. I know all about "Go Compare" and actively refuse to go anywhere near the site down to the stupid faux-opera singer shite. Even the Ukraine war hasn't put me off the meerkats, such is my disgust.

The helmans mayonnaise ad with the "making something out of nothing" song. Whichever ad executive who came up with that clumsy little ditty should have an anti-bonus deduction from their wages.
