It's the sort of naming convention of a temporary cached file. Technically your browser is constantly doing GET operations against http servers and downloading files you just shouldn't see it. I'd put it down to a random browser error.

I've noticed an additional line cropping up at the bottom of some threads recently :-

Probably not going to be malware on a Debian OS. It's possible I suppose but unlikely. I doubt malwarebytes will be of much help if it is.

have noticed a new message at the bottom of threads the last couple of days. i imagine its where adds should appear. it says-

This page may contain affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if a visitor clicks through and makes a purchase. By clicking on an affiliate link, you accept that third-party cookies will be set.

quite possibly linked to your issue.

It seems to have stopped the annoying sliding adverts too. That's a blessing though.

Just did it again when viewing a thread. I think it's the creep-up ad at the bottom.

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 1 year, 33 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
