retired in Nov, been up to my eyeballs dealing with imbicile pension companies.
Almost put my house on the market but saw sense and shitcanned that, but not until I'd put in weeks of work dojbg jobs what needed done.

Shooting stuff, mostly for miserable farmers.
Trying to get out cycling and playing golf, but only really succeeding in going to the pub to recover from the feking stress of it all.

It'll settle, and its still better than work lol.

Im in the process of retiring. Ran my own practice and also work part time for another firm as and when I want to. Ive closed my own business and told the other firm I'm going to retire. They are currently recruiting a replacement.

No mortgage, wife quit work a year ago.

I have loads of interests and hobbies, the only reason I don't/ can't do then is time. If im not working there is no way id ever get bored. I just don't understand folks who say I can't retire, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

Obviously you need sufficient cash, but if that isn't the limiting factor to be able to do whatever you want with your time is fantastic.
