I missed this thread when it was up and running but I did read somewhere that the seagull wanted to know why the chicken crossed the road.

De-arrested means he wasn't booked in at the station. So never got that far.

I have issues with the whole 'de-arrest' thing. I'm not really sure that it's lawful. At the very least if you get de-arrested then you clearly were unlawfully arrested in the first place.
