Usually Cointreau or Drambuie. Hardly anyone drinks the stuff so they get all gummed up. Run 'em under the hot tap for a bit.

Yes but when you meet someone who is truly toxic (and I've met a few in me time ... Rolling Eyes ) that word really is the only thing that fits.

I could say "throttlebottom", "vitriolic" or "neanderthal" or any other number of things. But when the offending party/situation really is an evil combination of so many ghastly parts that there really is nothing for it but to declare them/it as "toxic".

Or maybe I've just met too many wankers in the course of my life Laughing

It's gone on for too long already.

People who start a reply to a question with, 'Absolutely'.

I'm Absolutely sick of it.

Disagree. A well placed 'Absolutely' is used by people with intelligence and grace. You can't use it all the time, just once in a while when trying to explain a concept to someone, and they they show understanding by explaining it back to you. That's the kind of usage it has. However, 'hundred percent' is used by smooth brained neanderthals.

Now we're devolving into football aphorisms. "Giving it 110%" and "At the end of the day" being particularly egregious.

I mean Footballers aren't exactly the most loquacious of people. Motorcycle racers do the same sort of thing:

"For sure I am very happy with the bike"

Cal Crutchlow does this but you get the impression he’d picked it up from talking with Italian engineers and adopting their speech patterns. See Julio Geordio.

Having your full time occupation listed as 'Influencer'

So basically someone pays you to look good and spout crap all over the internet.

Not sure what the point of full time education is anymore.

There would be much unhappiness if someone said that in front of me.

I wouldn't be the unhappy one.

That is almost as irksome as 'would of'. Mad Mad Mad

That is the 'long spelling' of the abbreviation, Would've.
