No not yet, watching P2 now but the red flag has cut the recording short.

Glad the BT team are still covering Sat and Sun, not keen on the Dorna guys. Simon should stick to the tech talks on YouTube they are great.

That sprint race was a buzz.
Highlights Monday evening ITV4 Think they’ll be showing 2 live races this year. Silverstone and one other.

They really are going to have to learn to reign it in a bit if they want to see a season out. Unless you're out front and can stay there it seems a bit of a crashfest.

Watching the front of MM bike he had at least 2 prior warnings that there was a grip issue and then it just seemed to run completely out of brake.

See if things are any better at a track they haven't all been testing at.

Neil Hodgson seemed to think MM was overriding the bike to try to keep up, and the only place he could do it was on the brakes. He'd almost lost the front a couple of times before the crash, so that does seem to fit. One of the commentators suggested that Olivera deserved to give MM the classic Casey Stoner rebuke - "Your ambition outweighed your talent." Laughing

Still though, despite Pecco bagging both the first sprint race and the GP, I think it bodes well for this season. Both KTM and Aprilia seem to have made major steps forward (unlike Yamaha and Honda), so I'm hoping we'll see a lot more names near the front. Shame that FQ and MM don't really seem to have the equipment to compete though.

Marc and Oliveira both out of Argentina's race.

IIRC Pol is out and so is another, that's 4 out after 1 weekend.

The sprint (it's not a race but it is) was great.
Battles galore.

Let's see how the long race goes tomorrow and if something other than a Ducati can keep at the front.

During that race there were a fair few riders thinking poor me.

Brad Binder was unlucky...entered the corner a tad wide and let Vinny go for it.

Fabio nurfed aside by Nakagami <<< Bell end ...again! made worse that his team mate was running up front.

Miller....same thing....not happy with that setup yet his team mate did well.

Usual fare for a wet race...some excelled...Alex Marquez. The old dog Zarco was great to watch. Bez leading the championship....didn't expect that.

A season of Ducatis fighting is maybe where it's at.

Shout out to Morbidelli too though, he barely broke the top 10 last season, and he got more out of the Yamaha than Fabio could.

Anyone fancy a book on MM93 not riding again for Honda this year? Anyone else at the point where they're not sure they care? I think if he can't come back and race cleanly and stay out of trouble, he'll end his own career with an injury that he won't want to come back from.

KTM/Aprillia beating Ducati?

Bagnaia having a massive internal hissy fit and falling off under pressure every race day?

Good to see that no matter who's on the bikes that the sprint races are no less scrappy, despite initial scepticism, they really have shaken up the format and made it less of a procession. It's also highlighted that you don't need No.93 to make it interesting anymore.

Jack Miller is probably the nicest bloke in the sport - full of praise for KTM / team first then Dani and then and only then did he talk about himself.

Looking forward to watching the racing today.

Not controversial more disappointed that a new route had to be found to see more women racing when mixed racing has been available since before the 60s.

Bike racing is watched mostly by men and having a female only championship will hopefully get more women at the tracks/telly screens.

How would being male rather than female actually make any difference in motorsport?

Aside from the sponsership options, obviously.

For fans of things going in circles very fast then today ranks high.

The Senior Superbike race of the TT. M.Dunlop vs Hickman.

MotoGP is zesty. Marc is playing the current champ like a fiddle. Mugello sprint race should be fun.

Wimin are s4it drivers. Laughing

There are a few women in motorsport and very few women champions when competing against men.

It might be team support and or sponsorship related.

There might not be many 'significant' studies on this area of sport.

Righty o you lazy bunch.

Pirelli will be supplying the tyres for Moto3 and Moto2 next year. Personally would like to see them supply the big bikes too.

Cal 'Do not doubt me' Crutchlow has a wildcard at the Motegi round.

Aero and holeshots are making the racing as 'exciting' as F1 (oh and Ducati are just on a roll). Fingers crossed the holeshot devices will be binned. That Gigi...he's too good which has lead to bikes being too difficult to ride as the riders would like. Backing it in or standing it on the nose or massive spinning it up out of a corner are not how these current bikes like to be ridden.

Holeshot means the pack gets to the first corner at the same time = lots of incidents. Aero combined with the current tyres = those following have a tyre that balloons as it gets hotter n hotter so teams have been under-inflating more than ever. Aero creates that dirty air = fewer overtakes.

Aero probably won't go but maybe a different tyre manufacturer and no holeshot could see the Japanese bikes get a whiff.

The who's coming in and going out and other changes I'm not too sure about.

Anyone got some info on that?

What exactly is holeshot in this context?
