Hello everybody. Only had the bike 4 weeks ! 3rd ride out just going around a corner and the bike just instantly cut out . No spluttering or anything just instantly died .

I've had to get recovered home so I've put a post out on some falco Facebook groups and a couple of people have said it could be the hose on the fuel pump inside the tank .

The AA Bloke said it's getting a spark and he can hear the fuel pump when ignition is turned on . He tried a small amount of easy start in the intake and it did try to fire up with it .

Just wondered what your thoughts where . It's my first fuel injected bike and I've got 3 months 3rd party warranty if it's worth getting back InTouch with the place I bought it from ?

Thanks

Presumably the AA man eliminated all the obvious possibilities like fuses and fuel so yes, take it back to the seller rather than messing with it yourself, it’s what the warranty is for. Did you buy it locally?

Hi it was just up in York . I've rang the place up today and they've said it's a return to base warranty if I can get it to them which obviously I can't .
They've said there going to ring me back if they can pick it up . I'm not massively bothered it's a 20 odd year old bike at the end of the day and it was fairly cheap I was just hoping to get through summer till I had to mess with it so I'll just wait to see what they say

Name a more iconic duo than Aprilia and Random Electronic Faults... Mr. Green

Part of the charm some might say, but I'd still be taking it back to the shop for them to have a look whilst it's covered. My Aprilia was 'charming' randomly right up to the day it was written off. I'd still have another though so take from that what you will.

It's probably got absolutly nothing to do with it and I have no idea if the Falco has one fitted but I had exactly the same symptoms when the mercury tilt switch that cuts the engine out when the bike falls over failed on my GL1500 while I was going round a bend.

Rereading your first post, I doubt it is because on the Wing it cut the ignition and you said you still have sparks so forget what I just typed. Laughing
