seriously I could have done with one of them, save keep unscrewing it to change blades the other day

Works a treat when you're scoring hundreds of lines in plasterboards and you don't need to fuck about. Touch one button, tug the blade, fuck the discarded blade into the bin bucket and use your thumb to rack the slide and a new blade is there and ready to use. Takes less than a couple of seconds.

^^This. I have so much been procrastinating with my own personal PC system. It's just that I know I should really build a new PC and I can't bring myself to do it without spec'ing an absolute monstrosity Smile

ram and ssd drives are surprisingly cheap at the mo. you can pick up a 1tb nvme for under £40.

Today I did buy a new grass strimmer. Fuck that plastic string shit it's one with the plastic blades again. I say again 'cos that was the old strimmer but I lent it to my neighbour today and she broke it in less than 5 mins Rolling Eyes Ah well, shit happens and I'd rinsed >5 years of serious usage out of the old one + rebuilt the battery pack (which naturally you can't buy anymore.)

Funny, I thought I’d noticed more bug splats on the bike and visor this year too.

New wheels and tyres for my RC car. I've balded the original knobblies ripping around my works car park so this time I've gone for more of a road tread tyre with a harder compound.
For a relatively cheap RC car, its fast as fook and superb fun.

Get carniverous plants. It's much more fun listening to flies buzzing away when knowing they are being digested alive.

Venus fly traps require very specific conditions including humidity and heat. Pitcher plants are a lot more forgiving provided that you put them in poor enough soil.

Poor soil, very wet, as in standing water. They are easy enough once you get the setup right. Nobbys right in that Sarrencia are easy peasy to grow and eat way more flies than venus flytraps do.

Yes yes, but can you hear them panicking whilst they are being eaten? In the style of Quint.

Bought my younger sister in NZ a pile of balloons filled with helium and a $250 voucher for the fancy Italian ice cream parlour next to her apartment, cos its her 60th. If I was there, I would take her for an ice cream birthday party, but seeing as how I'm not, I thought she might like to take all her scuzzy mates for an ice cream party instead Laughing

I think she liked it.
